rapid eLearning

For my adaptation of the ADDIE model into a rapid e-learning model, I assumed that the context of the situation was a company hiring an instructional designer to create an online learning module.

In this context, there are some steps that will likely need to be completed in collaboration between the instructional designer and the manager needing the training for his or her team, while other steps fall exclusively to one or the other -- or to the audience who will be receiving final version of training.

The examples for each step use a situation in which a large nonprofit organization is changing their goal setting and performance appraisal system, and the HR manager has hired an instructional designer to create an online module that will teach all of the supervisors within the organization about the change: the reason for switching, the impact it will have on current and future appraisals, and how to use the new quantification and tracking systems.
